- ALL SAW LOGS REQUIRE 6″ TRIM.
LENGTHS
- RED OAK Prime, Select and #1 logs 8’6″, 9’6″, and 12’6″ LENGTHS preferred.
- WHITE ASH 8′ 6″, 12’6″, 16’6″ LENGTHS preferred.
- OTHER Hardwood LENGTHS
Ash preferred 8’6″, 12’6″, 16’6″
Aspen/Basswood 8’8″, 17’6″ ONLY. - HEMLOCK PREFERRED LENGTHS: 20′, 16′ and 10′.
- All Other 8’6″ – 16’6″.
DIAMETERS
- Hardwood Saw Log MAXIMUM diameter on butt end 36″.
- Softwood saw log MAXIMUM diameter on butt end 48″.
- Maple heart spec 1/3 heart max, except Soft Maple #2 is ½ heart max.
- Hardwood Pallet Logs MAXIMUM diameter on butt end 18″.
- Standard deductions taken for sweep, rot, etc.
- Hardwood logs not meeting specs are paid at $80/m or culled
- ASPEN/BASSWOOD: MINIMUM diameter 10″, maximum diameter on butt end “30.
We are now buying many species and grades of hardwood saw logs. Prices are subject to change on short notice.

To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we have had to put precautionary and emergency safety measures in place to help adhere to official UK Government and Public Health England advice. As a result, we urgently need to put the following measures in place in order to protect our staff, their families, suppliers, contractors and of course our customers:
-Order Selection and Collections:
We will no longer be allowing customers onto our premises for visits, selections or collections during this period.
Orders can be taken online, by email or over the phone and we will do our upmost to keep you updated with stock and order delivery lead times.
If you arrive at our premises, you will unfortunately be asked to leave and order over the phone, by email or online.
-Order delivery:
We will do our best to maintain delivering to our timescale promises, however as our priority is to comply with the UK Government and Public Health England instruction and advice, this may mean that orders may not be sourced, produced or delivered to the timescales initially promised and paid for.
-Stock availability:
We are already experiencing limitations to certain product lines from sources across the globe and this may unfortunately cause challenges in completing your order within the timescales promised and paid for.

Unfortunately, as these potential delays will be due to natural circumstances outside of our control, we are unable to offer credits and refunds on this basis, however we aim to mitigate these situations as much as reasonably practical.
